Ecoex was officially incorporated on September 28, 2018.
Founded with a mission to revolutionize waste management through innovative technology platforms.
Engaged NEML (13-Feb-2020) E-Marketplace launched to organize the unorganized sector (31-Aug-2020) ₹1.25 Cr spent till Feb 2022 Engaged KPMG for diagnostic study towards setting up of recycled plastic credit exchange platform Recognized as a startup by the DPIIT.

Nimit Aggarwal
Founder & Director
Nimit Aggarwal (MD), MBA(ISB), Nimit has 12+ years of experience in Plastic Waste Management industry. He comes with more than 10 years of experience in working towards sustainable solutions, plastic waste management and PET plastic waste. He is an eco-minded entrepreneur supporting UNDP Sustainable Development Goals and has also consulted numerous foreign recycling organizations with their planning and business strategy. Before founding Ecoex, he headed a successful PET bottle Recycling Plant where he worked towards implementing new technology in plastic recycling. He increased the plant capacity to 5000 MT per month during his tenure, making it the second largest recycler. At Ecoex, Nimit is Leading the team from the front and roping strategic planning and vision within the team.
Akshaya Rath
Co-Founder & CEO
AkshayaRath (CEO), MSc. Chemistry, comes with 20+ years of experience in e marketplace, supply chain. He was instrumental in conceptualization, designing and developing of bidnemo.com & bankeauctions.com. His expertise has helped him yield profitability out of every B2B business venture he has headed. He entered the “C-Suite” in the early stages of his career and has managed 30+ e-tendering implementation projects in Govt. departments & Public sector units in domestic market. Akshaya also brings his expertise in e-auctions as a subject matter expert and has also led a team to develop e-auction (reverse & forward) software solution in his previous organisation. At Ecoex, Akshaya is leading the team as CEO.

With over 37 years of leadership experience, he has served in key national and international roles, including Director General, National Productivity Council, Chairman of Board for major corporations, and District Magistrate of Srinagar and Budgam.
As Director at EcoEx, Shri Nayak brings deep domain expertise, governance excellence, and a strong sustainability vision to guide the company’s mission in circular economy and responsible waste management.

Mr. Devan K. Yadav is a seasoned management professional with 24 years of experience in Sales Leadership, International Business Development, and Key Account Management across 50+ countries. A BBS and MBA graduate, he has held senior roles with Frigoglass, Al Tajir Glass (UAE), ITW Hi-Cone, and served as General Manager, Sales & Marketing at Patanjali Ayurved Ltd.
He also brings entrepreneurial experience in food processing and agri ventures, giving him a strong understanding of operations, finance, and market development.

Amit has over 30+ years of professional experience working with organizations like L&T, Wipro, PwC India etc. initially worked in areas of materials management, procurement, logistics etc. and for the last 20+ years, Amit has been consulting various central and state governments in India and Middle East/Africa for various projects in IT/ICT, Urban Development, Civil Infrastructure and Green Energy.
